Newbay Medical Clinic Fees
UPDATE: 1 November 2023:
We advise that our gap fees Monday- Friday $56
- a $97.40 fee for a standard consultation < 20 min ($41.40 rebate from Medicare)
- a $136.10 fee for a long consultation <40 mins ($80.10 rebate from Medicare)
- a $174.00 fee for a prolonged consultation 40+ mins ($118.00 rebate from Medicare)
We will continue to bulk bill children under the age of 17 (on weekdays only)
Gap increases apply to weekend consultations of $70.
Please note that Our Gap has not changed since our first gap increase in March 2023 since we have opened, and is in line with ongoing increases in our overheads, including rent, wages, electricity, medical supplies and insurance.

BULK BILLING
The following patients will be bulk billed (on weekdays only):
- patients with a DVA gold card;
- patients who identify as being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander;
- children aged 17 and under
- existing patients suffering from genuine financial hardship – please enquire before your appointment.
NON ATTENDANCE FEE
You can cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least three hours’ notice
If you fail to attend your appointment without notice, you will be charged a non-attendance fee of $97.40.
PAYMENT
All fees must be paid immediately following your consultation.
We prefer payment by EFTPOS, American Express, Visa or Mastercard. We do not impose any surcharges for card payments.
We do not accept cheques.
